When I head to the grocery store, there is one brand name I always look for and it is Silk. My children are lactose and tolerant so we love the options of alternative milks that Silk has to offer us such as Coconut Milk, Almond Milk, and of course, Soy. I tend to stick to Almond but occasionally Vanilla Silk comes home with us instead.
I absolutely adore Vanilla Silk with Mini Wheats Touch of Fruit in the Middle Cereal. Between the two, this is a breakfast that I feel like I’m splurging on. The Vanilla flavor provides a hint of sweetness and extra flavor without being overpowering.
Besides the flavor and the fact that it is lactose free, I love the fact that Silk has less sugar, less calories, and more nutritional value than regular milk.
